Need hacks to walk comfortably in heels, ask Rajaa Betaa actor Sambhabana Mohanty
Zee TV’s newest early primetime offering Rajaa Betaa recently introduced viewers to an ideal young man, Vedant (played by Rrahul Sudhir) – a highly qualified gynaecologist, adopted in his early childhood by the Tripathi family.
Brought up by a deeply discouraging family but with the love of his foster grandfather, Vedant flowers into a fine young man, accomplishing everything his father couldn’t. The show also features actor Sambhabana Mohanty in the pivotal role of Poorva Mishra who has been making every effort to bring alive her character on screen.
But as it is rightly said that there is no gain without pain and it does stand true for Sambhabana as well. She has been dealing with some height issues as her co-star Rrahul is 6’2’’ and she has to wear 4-inch heels to match up to his towering figure.
Sometimes, it becomes difficult for Sambhabana to shoot for long hours in the heels, but she has been showing a lot of endurance and has even found a couple of hacks to deal with the task at hand.
Sambhabana said, “While I love wearing high-heeled footwear, sporting them on set and walking around in them for hours can be taxing. And since, I have to do that a lot while shooting for Rajaa Betaa, I have found some easy hacks to keep the pain away.
I sometimes tape my legs to avoid the discomfort, put an antiperspirant inside the shoe to avoid blisters and use gel pads for a more pleasant experience. In fact, I have been wearing my own foot ware to prevent any first-wear aches and pains. These are so far the best hacks that have worked wonders for me and I strongly recommend them.”
Well, thank you Sambhabana for the easy tips and tricks!
